West Horndon industrial unit fire tackled by Essex crews

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service said it was called to Little Warley Hall Lane at 15:06 GMT on Tuesday

Three fire crews battled flames at an industrial unit after it caught alight on Tuesday afternoon.

Essex County Fire & Rescue Service were called to Little Warley Hall Lane in West Horndon, near Brentwood.

Firefighters entered the building wearing breathing apparatus and extinguished the blaze.

They were praised for stopping the flames spreading and an investigation into what caused the fire was under way, the fire service said.
