A man charged with the attempted murder of two police officers has appeared in court.
Declan Diedrick, 23, of Hull Grove, Harlow, Essex, is also charged with one count of possession of a knife.
Appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Monday, he spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth and was not asked to enter any pleas.
Mr Diedrick was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 5 April.
The charge followed a police incident on Hull Grove on 29 December that saw two women injured.
