Towie star Lydia Bright: I've received support from single mums

TV personality Lydia Bright has told how she recevied an "outpouring of support" from single mums.

The former cast member of The Only Way Is Essex said she separated from the father of her child while she was pregnant.

"Although I was petrified of the thought of being a single mum, now I'm like, 'oh my gosh, this is the best thing that ever happened to me' and even if I could change it, re-write history, I wouldn't," she said.

Bright, 33, has written a book called Mummy and Me, which is about a single-parent elephant and her daughter.

She said being a parent was "better than the fairytale I once dreamt of".
