Popstar Olly Murs dressed as a sausage roll for a bakery-themed baby shower he threw for his wife.

The fun-loving singer-songwriter, 39, teamed up with a bakery chain for the shower on Sunday.

Murs married Amelia Tank, 31, last year in Essex and the couple announced in December they are expecting their first child.

Decorative boxes at the baby shower read "What's in the oven?".

Bags to serve the food had puns related to some of the singer's biggest hits.

A jokey health warning on the food packaging made a reference to his 2011 song, Heart Skips a Beat, reading "Caution: Your heart will skip, skip, skip a beat".

Others gave a nod to his 2012 Troublemaker hit, reading "Amelia and Olly - Congrats on tour troublebaker".
