Woman who died after being found unconscious in Basildon is named

A "beloved" mother-of-four who died three days after after being found unconscious has been named.

Charlotte Randall, 39, was discovered at a property on Elsenham Crescent, Basildon and died on Thursday.

On Sunday, Essex Police charged a man with making threats to kill and controlling or coercive behaviour.

Joshua Robinson, 32, was remanded in custody by Chelmsford magistrates on Monday and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 15 April.

Ms Randall was found on Sunday, 10 March and taken to a hospital in London, where she died on Thursday, 14 March.

In a statement issued via police, Ms Randall's family said: "Our beloved, kind-hearted and caring Charlotte leaves an irreplaceable hole in our lives.

"She was the most incredible mother to her four beautiful children and lit up the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

"We will forever feel her absence."

Officers said their investigation into Ms Randall's death was "ongoing" and anyone with information was asked to come forward.
