Feering pub landlord attempted murder suspect is released on bail

A man suspected of trying to murder a pub landlord has been released on bail, police have said.
The alleged victim, aged in his 30s, was injured outside The Bell Inn in Feering, Essex, on 29 March.
Detectives believe he may have been hurt in a crash involving a vehicle in the pub car park.
A 67-year-old man from nearby Kelvedon was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was released on bail until 23 May.
The injured man remained in hospital in a serious condition, Essex Police said.
The pub said it closed on Monday due to "unforeseen circumstances", but reopened the following day.
Anyone with information or camera footage relating to the incident has been asked to contact the force.
