Harlow police raids see officers seize drugs, cash and a weapon

Police officers seized a "substantial" quantity of Class A drugs during a series of raids.

Essex Police said it executed warrants at four addresses in the Netteswell area of Harlow.

Drugs, criminal cash and an "offensive weapon" were found during the action taken at 06:30 BST on Thursday.

Two men and two women were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs and taken to the town's police station for questioning.

Another woman would be attending a voluntary interview related to possession of Class A drugs, police said.

Insp Leanne Archer, of Harlow community policing team, said: "If you deal drugs in Harlow, you will be caught.

"We are grateful for the information we have received from the public and a lot of hard work has been going on in the background to pursue offenders."
