Gloucester Quays designer outlet 'doing well'

Bosses at the Gloucester Quays designer outlet have said the centre is doing well, despite empty units.
The centre recently welcomed its two millionth visitor since opening in May last year.
However, more than a quarter of the retail and restaurant units in the first phase of the £200m development are still empty. About 52 are open.
Centre manager Richard Rawlings said that was still "very good going".
"An outlet centre will take several years to mature," he added.
"We've brought to Gloucester names that possibly wouldn't have come into the city - Calvin Klein, LK Bennett and the White Company to name three.
"We have a hit list of brands we want to attract....we're actively talking to those retailers but it does take time."
Customers Tamara Middle and James Sage were presented with champagne and a gift card by Mr Rawlings to mark the two millionth visitor milestone.
