- Published

Gustav Holst was born in Cheltenham in 1874
Plans for a middle distance footpath, known as the Gustav Holst Way, have been unveiled in Gloucestershire.
The 35-mile-long route for ramblers will take in places which are associated with the Cheltenham-born composer, such as Cranham, Wyck Rissington and Bourton-on-the-Water.
A provisional route is available to download from the website of the Holst Birthplace Museum.
Route markers will be put up ready for the official launch later in the year.
