A body found washed-up on rocks in Gloucestershire is that of Rikki Baldwin who went missing last month.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed the body, discovered on Saturday, had been formally identified earlier.
A man matching 24-year-old Mr Baldwin's description was last seen early on 9 April, going into the River Wye from a bridge between Sedbury and Chepstow.
"An inquest is due to take place to be opened and adjourned later," a police spokesman said.
Mr Baldwin's disappearance sparked an extensive search of the area by emergency services and the Severn Area Rescue Association (Sara).
It is believed he had been out with friends in Chepstow the night before.
Rescue crews were stood down on 10 April.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to Mr Baldwin, who lived in Sedbury, on a Facebook group set up to help find him.
