Gloucester murder inquiry after fatal stabbing

A murder investigation is under way after a man is thought to have died from a stab wound to his leg.

Ambulance crews were called shortly before 16:50 BST to Marian Court flats in Archdeacon Street, Gloucester.

Paramedics treated the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene just after 18:00.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said an investigation had been launched and asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
