Two men suspected of possessing guns in Gloucester bailed

The two men who were allegedly seen with a gun have been released on bail

Two men arrested on suspicion of possessing firearms have been released on police bail.

Armed police officers were called out to the Matson area of Gloucester at about 16:20 BST on Friday after reports they were seen with a gun.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Two suspected air weapons were seized. They were later released on police bail with conditions.

Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses and for anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage which could help the investigation.
