A 11-year-old boy was injured when he was knocked down by a car on a pedestrian crossing.

The boy was crossing Ashchurch Road in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, on 29 January at 8.15 GMT when a silver car - possibly an electric - came around the corner and struck him.

Gloucestershire Police are looking for the driver, who did initially stop but did not leave her details.

The boy was treated for bruising at a minor injury unit.

Officers are now asking the driver, along with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage, to make contact.
