Broken rail blocks disrupts trains between Southampton and Bournemouth

The break in the rail was discovered between Christchurch and Hinton Admiral
Trains through the New Forest are being disrupted after a broken rail halted services.
Network Rail said a the fault between Christchurch and Hinton Admiral blocked the line towards Brockenhurst.
The line has since reopened but CrossCountry and South Western Railway services on the South West Main Line were subject to cancellations or delays for the remainder of Thursday.
A bus replacement service is operating between Southampton and Bournemouth.
