Southampton: Man caught shining laser beam at police helicopter

The helicopter crew spotted the bright beam coming from a house in Southampton
A man has been caught aiming a laser beam at a police helicopter.
The National Police Air Service crew were targeted as they flew over Southampton on Monday while assisting officers on the ground in a search.
Hampshire police said it quickly identified the source of the laser, seized the device and made an arrest under the Laser Misuse Act 2018.
The force said a 60-year-old man was given a police caution for shining a laser beam at an aircraft.
