M27: Eight-vehicle crash near Portsmouth causes long delays

An eight-vehicle crash has caused long delays for motorists on the M27 in Hampshire.

Police were called to the scene between Junction 11 for Fareham and Gosport and Junction 12 for Portsmouth at 07:15 GMT.

Nobody was injured in the crash but two lanes were closed, resulting in up to six miles of queuing traffic.

Hampshire County Council said the crash had also resulted in delays on the A27 and A3(M). All lanes have reopened.
