A Worcestershire town's contribution to the carpet industry will be showcased in a new museum.
The Carpet Museum Trust has been given £1.7m of lottery funding to set up the museum in the former Stour Vale Mill, Kidderminster.
The building, put up in 1855, was originally built as a carpet making factory.
The main attraction will be a working power loom with galleries displaying the industry's development.
The money was given by the Heritage Lottery Fund. A spokeswoman said she wished the trust every success and looked forward to the benefits it will bring to the town and its visitors.
