Tradesmen wanted to help with Grange Court revamp

Herefordshire tradesman are being encouraged to help with works on a £2.8m stately home refurbishment.

Herefordshire Council is looking for people to help out with the finishing touches, such as the decorating, of the Grange Court revamp.

A spokesman said it was an exciting project giving an opportunity to work on a historic building.

Anyone interested can call at the site office at Grange Court, built in 1633, in Leominster.

Once the work is completed, the freehold of the building will be transferred to the Leominster Area Regeneration Company.

The company is applying for charitable status which will allow it to get more funding to equip the building and install materials relating to its history.
