Kidderminster carpet firm expands in £400,000 takeover

A Worcestershire-based carpet firm is taking over a Devon luxury flooring firm in a £400,000 deal.

Victoria Carpets in Kidderminster will pay another £50,000 for C&H, near Exeter, if it achieves its sales targets.

Alan Bullock, the managing director of Victoria Carpets, said the company is planning to create a new luxury flooring division.

Victoria Carpets employs 300 people and will take on the eight employed at C&H.
