Worcestershire Royal Hospital remained closed to visitors on Tuesday

Three hospitals have been closed to visitors because of an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug, norovirus.

The Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester, The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, and Kidderminster Hospital are asking visitors not to visit patients.

People are advised to contact wards if visits are deemed essential.

Wards at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital and The Alexandra were affected by the bug earlier this month.
