Heineken has announced it is investing £58m in its Bulmers cider plant in Hereford.

The money will be used to increase the site's production capacity and to modernise it.

The firm also confirmed it would be moving its production and packaging operations from Ledbury to Hereford by late 2015.

Ledbury will become a dedicated fruit milling site. Bulmers was established in 1887.
