Parents can have their say on a new school being built in Redditch.

The first school and nursery will open in 2027 to reception age pupils first and will be located on a site off Foxlydiate Lane, Webheath, Worcestershire County Council said.

The authority added it will open to meet the increased demand from new housing developments.

The consultation, which asks for opinions about the age range and size of the school, closes on 25 February.

It will also ask about school values and seek views on how it is built.

'Work with community'

Councillor Tracey Onslow said: "We want to work alongside the community throughout this project, as we have done in other new school projects, to ensure we can hear views and meet needs.

"We want to hear from as many parents as possible, so visit our dedicated website pages and fill out the form."

The school will open initially to reception aged children and will grow over time as it will take a new cohort of reception children each September.
