A new dental surgery could be created at a community hall in Hereford.

Worcester-based AMH Healthcare has applied to change the use of part of the Saxon Hall Putson Community Centre to the south of the city.

Plans with the application include three treatment rooms being converted from kitchen and toilet facilities, two community rooms and rooms for storage and decontamination.

Other parts would not be changed.

The area has seen considerable new house-building in recent years.

There would be no external changes to the building's exterior or its 54 car parking spaces.

AMH Healthcare's application seeks permission for a change from "leisure" use, which includes community halls, to medical and health use.

The service would open between 08:30 and 18:00 on weekdays.

Comments on it can be submitted until 5 March.
