Hull cyclist dies in pedestrian crossing collision

A 57-year-old cyclist has been killed crossing a major road in Hull.
Wendy Roberts was riding a bike across the A1033 Raich Carter Way at 19:15 BST on Monday when she was in collision with a Mercedes car.
Ms Roberts, from Hull, was using a toucan crossing for pedestrians and cyclists and died from her injuries at the scene, Humberside Police said.
The 21-year-old male driver of the car was not injured. Police have urged witnesses to come forward.
