Three women have appeared in court charged over the abuse of an elderly woman in an East Yorkshire care home.

The family of Freda Jobson, 84, hid cameras in her room at Keldgate Manor in Beverley after concerns about her care.

Sophie Hinchsliff, 24, Tracy Priestley, 41, and Danielle Snowden, 23, appeared at Beverley Magistrates' Court charged with neglect.

They are due to appear at Hull Crown Court on 30 November.

Ms Hinchsliff, of Wharton Avenue in Beverley, Ms Priestley, of Burden Close in Beverley, and Danielle Snowden, of 40th Avenue in Hull, were all granted unconditional bail.

Ms Jobson is a great-grandmother and has Alzheimer's.
