Hull man dies after footbridge stabbing

A man has died after he was stabbed in Hull sparking a murder inquiry.
David Rylands, 46, from Hull, was attacked on the footbridge between Selby Street and Walliker Street at about 20:00 GMT on Wednesday.
Detectives said the motive for the murder was not yet clear and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Humberside Police added that a "male offender fled the scene following the assault" and detectives were treating the murder "as an isolated incident".
A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.
Det Ch Insp Matt Baldwin said: "A team of detectives are carrying out a large number of lines of enquiry including house to house visits, CCTV investigation and forensic enquiries."
