Pavements across Hull will undergo "much-needed" repairs next month, the council has said.
Hull City Council said resurfacing will take place in Benedict Road, Chanterlands Avenue, Chester Road, Helmsley Grove, Hessle Road, Wascana Close, Luton Road, and Woodgate Road.
Work is expected to begin on 6 November and take six months to complete.
Councillor Mark Ieronimo said pedestrians would "welcome the smooth new surfaces".
To reduce the impact on residents, the work will be carried out in separate stages on the following dates:
Benedict Road (southern footpath from Hilary Grove to outside number 92) - Monday 6 November to Friday 10 November
Chanterlands Avenue (western footpath from Park Avenue West to Tennyson Avenue) - Monday 13 November to Tuesday 21 November
Chester Road (full length) - Wednesday 22 November to Thursday 30 November
Helmsley Grove (southern footpath from Garton Grove to Ampleforth Grove) - Friday 1 December to Wednesday 20 December
Hessle Road (northern footpath between the two access roads to Pickering Road) - Monday 8 January to Sunday 14 January
Luton Road (western footpath) and Woodgate Road (full length)- Friday 12 January to Tuesday 13 February
Wascana Close (full length) - Wednesday 14 February to Sunday 10 April
Footpath closures will be in place during the works although access will be maintained for residents, the council said.
Mr Ieronimo, the authority's portfolio holder for roads, said: "These works are essential to repair and maintain the surface of the footpaths, to stop them falling into poor condition.
"As investing in our city's pavements is one of my main priorities, I am very happy to see that we are on track to deliver a third more pavement improvements this year.
"I am focused on ensuring all footpaths are safe."
The work will be carried out by PBS Construction Limited on behalf of the council.
