Cannabis worth about £37,000 has been seized after a property was raided in Goole, police have said.

Humberside Police were called to Marshfield Avenue at about 20:00 GMT on Monday after reports of a group of people trying to break into a property.

When police arrived, the group had fled, the force said.

Officers returned with a warrant on Tuesday and discovered the cannabis and £10,000 worth of electrical equipment associated with its production.
