Men in court charged over Hull hammer attack

Two men have appeared in court accused of attacking a woman with a hammer.
The 41-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted in Sefton Street, Hull, at about 11:30 GMT on Monday.
Lennox Green, 28 of Belvedere Road, Hessle, and Sonny Grainger, 26, of Corsair Grove, Hull, are both charged with grievous bodily harm.
They appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court on Wednesday before being remanded in custody.
The pair are next due to appear at the city's crown court on 8 February.
