St Leonards care home closures forcing residents out

Fifty-two elderly residents have been told they will need to find somewhere else to live because their care homes are closing.

Clyde House and Leolyn care homes in St Leonards, East Sussex, are the second and third homes in the town to be shut by New Century Care within a year.

The company has blamed the "national funding climate" and said neither home was "financially sustainable".

Families said they were upset and disgusted by the closures.
