Man arrested after Ramsgate street stab death

Michael Ward collapsed and died in Bush Avenue after being stabbed in the thigh

A man has died in the road after being stabbed, police said.

Michael Ward, 40, collapsed in Bush Avenue in Ramsgate at about 17:00 BST on Sunday and died at the scene, Kent Police said.

He was stabbed in the leg during an earlier arguament in St John's Crescent before driving to Bush Avenue.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Police said the two men knew each other.

A knife, thought to have been used in the attack, has been recovered by police.
