Four men and a teenage boy were arrested over the death

A man has been charged with the murder of a man in a Kent street.

Wesley Adyinka, 37, died in the early hours of Sunday near his home in Knightrider Street, Maidstone.

Police said his injuries were "consistent with a stabbing" but cause of death would not be confirmed until a post-mortem. A woman in her 30s also suffered suspected stab wounds.

Kevin Roach, 39, of South Norwood, London, has been charged with murder and GBH.

He will appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday.

Four other people - two men from Croydon and Maidstone and a 17-year-old boy from London - arrested in connection with the death are still being questioned.
