Andre Bent death: Teen appears in court over Maidstone stabbing

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Kent.
Andre Bent, 21, was fatally stabbed in Maidstone on Sunday 25 August.
The teenager, from Hornsey in London who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with three counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court earlier and was remanded in custody until Wednesday.
Detectives have arrested eight people in total in connection with the inquiry. Four of those have been charged with violent disorder while three others are on bail.
