Coronavirus: Medway man lives in tent for five months

A homeless man has spent the last five months living in a tent on scrubland after losing his home during the coronavirus crisis.

The man, who does not want to be named, lost his job and the home that went with it when economic hard times hit during the pandemic.

He told BBC South East's Colin Campbell that he chose to live in woodland in Medway, Kent, because he felt safer living there than on the streets.
