Two teenagers charged in Tunbridge Wells murder probe

Two teenagers have been charged with murder and conspiring to commit robbery.

A man was found fatally injured in Caley Road, Tunbridge Wells, at 03:15 GMT on 4 December.

Ciaran Stewart, 18, from Curtis Road, Hornchurch, and a 17-year-old boy from Ilford who cannot be named for legal reasons were both charged on Tuesday.

They appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court earlier and are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.

Four other men have also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Three from Essex, aged 18, 25 and 28, have been remanded in custody.

The fourth man, aged 41 and from Hertfordshire, has been released on bail pending further enquiries until 28 December.

A 33-year-old woman from Essex who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been bailed, pending further enquiries, until 29 December.
