Firefighters have attended a blaze at a Canterbury city centre pub.

The blaze happened in the kitchen at The Drapers Arms, Sun Street, at about 15:20 GMT on Wednesday, Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) said.

Four fire engines responded and crews extinguished the fire, which the brigade said was believed to be "caused accidentally by an electrical fault".

KFRS also said three people at the scene were treated for suspected smoke inhalation.

No other injuries were reported and the fire service departed at about 16:40.
