Sheerness: Man dies after being hit by car

A man has been killed after he was hit by a car.

He was hit by a black Volkswagen Golf at 18:48 GMT on Wednesday in Marine Parade, Sheerness, near to the entrance to Barton's Point Coastal Park, Kent Police said.

Emergency services attended the scene but the man, who was in 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact them.
