Man dies when car crashes into house in Haslingden

A 33-year-old man died when the car he was travelling in crashed into a house on a busy road in Lancashire.

The man, from Blackburn, died at the scene of the crash in Grane Road, Haslingden, at about 01:55 BST on Sunday.

An 18-year-old man, also from Blackburn, was taken to hospital with chest injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
