The Queen has visited Lancashire as part of her role as the Duke of Lancaster.
Hundreds of people lined Lancaster's streets for the visit, which marks the 750th anniversary of the Duchy of Lancaster being created.
She arrived in the city shortly after 10:00 BST and headed to Lancaster Castle where she was given a tour and watched a performance of Shakespeare.
The Queen then went to Myerscough College in Billsborrow.
Her Majesty's last visit to Lancashire was in April 2014 when she handed out Maundy coins at Blackburn Cathedral.
The Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire Lord Charles Shuttleworth was the Queen's escort.
The Duchy of Lancaster is a private estate held in trust for the reigning sovereign.
