A woman who was knocked down and killed in a car park was a "true fighter until the end", her family has said.

Lynne Harvey, 72, was one of two pedestrians who were hit by a Vauxhall outside Greenhill Social and Bowling Club in Burnley at 17.50 GMT on Monday.

A 74-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released under investigation.

Ms Harvey's family said they would miss her forever and would hold "fond memories in our hearts".

"She always looked after, loved, and cared for her children," they added.

"She loved, talked about, and adored her grandchildren, never failing to mention them.

"A loving and caring friend. A tragic loss to us all. She will be remembered for as long as we live."
