Jacket potato tram in Preston gets TikTok tourism boost

Two brothers have said they have seen a boost to their jacket potato business, which they run from an old tram carriage, after making quirky videos on TikTok.

Harley and Jacob Nelson, known as the "spud brothers", have stacked up more than 17 million likes on the social media platform.

They said they had wanted to attract new customers to the Preston outlet and have even drawn visitors from abroad.

The brothers set up shop in Preston Flag Market three years ago, after the previous incumbent sold parched peas and other treats there for more than 50 years.
