Mytholmroyd flood looting 'morally reprehensible'

Parts of Mytholmroyd were flooded when the River Calder bursts its banks on Boxing Day.
Police investigating thefts from flood-hit houses have said looting evacuated homes is "morally reprehensible".
The comment, posted on a West Yorkshire Police Facebook page, came as a 40-year-old man from Huddersfield was charged with theft.
He was arrested on Wednesday after police received reports of a man taking items from a property in Mytholmroyd.
Two men aged 24 and 26, from Bradford, have also been arrested on suspicion of theft from properties in the village.

The online post said: "The flooding in Calderdale has had a major impact on thousands of people living within the area and is especially upsetting at Christmas.
"The impact of becoming a victim of a crime during this same period is morally reprehensible."
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the 40-year-old man was due to appear at Calderdale Magistrates' Court on 4 February.
The two Bradford men arrested have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
