Missing Stocksbridge mother and daughter found 'safe and well'

A mother and daughter who were reported missing from their home have been found "safe and well", police say.

The 48-year-old woman and her five-year-old daughter were last seen in the Stocksbridge area of Sheffield on Monday morning.

South Yorkshire Police posted a message on social media on Tuesday saying: "They have both been found safe and well."

The force also thanked members of the public who shared the appeal.
