M1 crash: Motorway reopens after multi-vehicle collision

The M1 northbound near Leeds has reopened after an earlier multi-vehicle collision.
The crash at junction 47, near Garforth, was reported at about 06:45 GMT, police said.
Pictures posted on social media showed at least three cars and a van were involved in the incident.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "This was a multi-vehicle collision, there are not believed to be any life-threatening injuries."
National Highways said the northbound carriageway was closed within junction 47 following the incident and reopened to traffic at around 10:30 GMT.
In a social media post, external National Highways said: "Delays remain in the area but should now start to ease. Thanks for your patience this morning."
