Harehills double murder accused to stand trial in 2024

A man accused of murdering two of his housemates in Leeds will stand trial in March next year.
Abdullah Mirzada, 53, and Khaja Raisoddin Mohammed, 65, were found injured in Back Hill Top Avenue, Harehills, at 11:00 BST on Saturday.
Mr Mirzada died at the scene while Mr Mohammed died later in hospital.
At Leeds Crown Court on Friday, Robert Jean, 46, who lived at the same address as the two men in Hill Top Mount, was remanded in custody.
No pleas were entered, with Mr Jean's trial expected to take place over eight days from 18 March 2024.
