The family of a young woman who died after being hit by a car in Bradford city centre have told of their "shattering" loss.
Ayesha Hussain, 21, was struck by a blue BMW 320D M Sport being driven on Hamm Strasse at about 16:35 GMT on 4 November.
It happened near the junction with Manningham Lane, police said, and Ms Hussain died later in hospital.
Her family urged witnesses to contact West Yorkshire Police.
In a statement issued through the force, Ms Hussain's sister thanked everyone who had offered their condolences.
"Under the circumstances we lost our beautiful baby sister Ayesha, it has been traumatic, and we can't explain in words our grief," she said.
'Please come forward'
"It is a devastating and shattering experience to suddenly lose someone you love in a road accident.
"We kindly ask that if you witnessed the accident, or events leading up to or after the accident, and can aid in the investigation in any way, please come forward."
Sgt Steve Suggitt said: "This was a tragic incident where a young woman has lost her life.
"The area was very busy at the time with traffic and pedestrians I would appeal directly to anyone who was in the area to come forward. Any little piece of information could be vital."
The driver, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries, the force added.
