Wakefield: Motorcyclist dies after crashing into tree in Sandal

Police were called to the Sandal area of Wakefield after the crash on Saturday
A 21-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash with a tree in Wakefield.
West Yorkshire Police was called to Chevet Lane in the Sandal area at about 08:20 GMT on Saturday.
The rider, who had travelled from the Barnsley area to Wakefield, was pronounced dead at the scene, the force said.
Officers closed the road to allow investigation work to be carried out and asked witnesses to the crash to come forward.
