Man denies murder following fatal flat fire in Fartown

A man has denied starting a house fire which claimed the life of a man in Huddersfield.
Raimondas Vejelis, 52, was one of six people rescued from a flat in Hillhouse Lane, Fartown, after a fire broke out in the early hours of 14 February.
Mr Vejelis died from his injuries in hospital a few days later.
At Leeds Crown Court on Thursday, Marcin Kramarski, 42, of Hillhouse Lane, pleaded not guilty to murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
He was remanded in custody until his trial in September this year.
