A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a man found stabbed in Leicester.

Junior Osborne, 50, was found fatally injured in Narborough Road on the night of 27 September.

The teenager - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was arrested on Monday and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later.

Four people - aged 18, 17, 16 and 16 - have also been charged with the murder of Mr Osborne.

One suspect has been named as 18-year-old James Williams, but the others cannot be named for legal reasons.

Leicestershire Police said the latest arrest and charge was not connected to the appeal from the independent charity Crimestoppers, external, which was issued on Monday.
