Jordan Green died in hospital after the crash

A family has paid tribute to "an amazing daddy" who died after a crash in Leicestershire.

Jordan Green was a rear seat passenger in a Vauxhall Corsa that was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Vivaro van on the A5199 Welford Road, in Husbands Bosworth, on Friday.

The 29-year-old, from Leicester, was taken to hospital but died a short time after.

His family said he was "the kindest, funniest soul that ever existed".

The tribute, shared by Leicestershire Police, said: "He would light up a room when he'd walk into it, put a smile on your face whenever you were feeling down.

"He was a loving son, brother, and uncle to his niece but also an amazing daddy to his two little girls.

"He loved his cars and bikes and was a proper adrenaline junkie."

Police said the front seat passenger of the Vauxhall Corsa - a man in his 20s - remained in hospital with possible life-changing injuries.

The driver of both vehicles - also men in their 20s - remain in hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A passenger in the Vauxhall Vivaro - a man in his 40s - also attended hospital but has since been discharged.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with any dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
